Katherine Heigl admits that she grew up in a white bubble, and how that influenced the way she raised her adopted, multiracial kids. In the latest episodes of "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" as well as "Grey's Anatomy" actress Katherine Heigl shared that she didn't care about her skin tone, until she met her adopted sister who was from South Korea. Meg was asked if her treatment was different while they were together with their parents and then when they went alone. She said, 'Oh, yeah, all the all the time! Heigl told Parents, "That made me realise that I had been so ignorant." Heigl said she got frustrated and thought it was crucial to put her anger towards helping the adopted children she has. Heigl's husband Josh Kelley and their son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. 4 have been married for 13 years. In 2009, they adopted Nancy Leigh (12), a daughter from South Korea, and Adalaide (8, a black child) in 2012.
